Bras Basah Complex Merchants Association held our very first Arts Day on 11 January 2020. With exciting art programs for all ages including drawing competitions, calligraphy demonstrations, art gallery exhibitions. It was indeed a happy and joyous occasion. Gracing the event was also our Guest of Honor, Ms Denise Phua, Mayor of Singapore Central District.

About this Event

In conjunction with Singapore Art Week 2020, Bras Brasah Complex is inviting you to the opening with activities the whole family can enjoy.

Program Highlights:

12.00pm Hui Chun calligraphy by Poon Han Yaw

12.30pm Make lanterns with recycled hong baos

Make Chinese zodiac animals with air dry clay

2.00pm Opening ceremony by Ms Denise Phua Lay Peng, Mayor of Central Singapore District

2.15pm  Angela Xu’s storytelling session by Maha Yu Yi

3.15pm  Draw and colour competition by Toh Chee Hao

4.15pm Judging

5.00pm Competition prize presentation

The draw and colour competition winners are limited to children aged 6 to 12 years old.

Stand to win 8 sets of $50 hong bao prize (sponsored by BBCMA) and 8 art & craft books (sponsored by Maha Yu Yi).

All materials will be provided.

By registering for the event, you can participate in all the activities listed but only children aged 6 to 12 years old can win in the draw and colour competition.

The first 30 registrations will get to redeem a goodie bag with discount vouchers from Bras Basah Complex.
