Coffee express 2000 originally first started at Pasir Ris. After 17 years, it has since expanded to 3 shops. At first glance, it looks like any regular coffee shop. It appeals to a wide range of customers, mainly the staff working around the vicinity of Bras Basah Complex and also the residents nearby.

The “Bak Chor Mee” (Minced meat noodles) is quite well known, as seen from the ever-present long queue. Sammy, the director of the company, told me that this stall owner has been around with Coffee Express since 2000.

Coffee Express 2000 prides in having a pretty decent pricing for the mass market, even though it is in the prime location in the central town area. Coffee Express 2000 does have plans in expanding their business, with the focus of changing their tender mix, so as to provide a better variety of food.
